Network switch - Enquiries - 12-13-2022

Hello, I recently purchased a Synology DS920+ NAS and am trying to figure a network switch that will work for me. I live in an apartment and the whole network is wireless, even my desktop PC (Dell XPS8700). The router is supplied by the internet provider. It is a Zyxel EMG3415-B10A, Duel-Band Wireless AC/N Gigabit Ethernet Gateway. The modem is a Nokia unit called a "Data Jack" plugged into the router's WAN port. There are 4 Ethernet ports, but it is inconveniently located in a utility room. I was wondering if the Netgear 5-port GS305 or GS305E would work in a wireless connection to the router from my PC or do you have a better solution? Thanks for your help, Stan Lincoln

There are few options. You could use wifi6 mesh system alongside with existing setup.
Or you can get 1GbE powerline adapters and connect a switch to this thing https://amzn.to/3Yl9FUd

I hope this helps.
