Torrent and streaming NAS for home use - Enquiries - 12-02-2022 Hi, I had an old NAS that I could download torrents to and stream from using FTP. I am looking for a new NAS I can log into from outside my home network and open torrent files. I would also like to be able to stream to TVs and ipads from home and away. What would you recommend? RE: Torrent and streaming NAS for home use - ed - 12-02-2022 I would recommend Synology play or plus series models. Such as DS218play or DS220+/ ds720+ (additional support for backups and data protection). You can use Download station of torrents. Then access all media via Synology Video app or Plex. In the local network, you can also stream via DLNA or FTP. I hope this helps. |
