QNAP TS-h973AX motherboard - Enquiries - 11-19-2022 Hello there! I have an unusual request! Could you get me some close up photos of the QNAP TS-h973AX motherboard? I want to know if the connection between the motherboard and the backplane of the disks is actually a PCI-e port or a proprietary connector. So that I can install a graphics card temporarily. My objective is to install TrueNAS Scale or any other Linux operating system. Also I would like to scout for a COM header or something that would give me a text console. Thanks in advance. RE: QNAP TS-h973AX motherboard - ed - 11-24-2022 Yes, this is a PCIe slot. But there is another way. People have used M.2 slot on 72XT series to install GPU card using PCIe extension cable like this https://amzn.to/3V6rww0 https://nascompares.com/answer/ts-873a-how-to-add-gpu/ https://nascompares.com/answer/qnap-tvs-672xt-external-gpu-via-m-2-slot-and-adapter/ I hope this helps. |
