QNAP TS-h973AX motherboard - Enquiries - 11-19-2022

Hello there!
I have an unusual request!

Could you get me some close up photos of the QNAP TS-h973AX motherboard?

I want to know if the connection between the motherboard and the backplane of the disks is actually a PCI-e port or a proprietary connector. So that I can install a graphics card temporarily. My objective is to install TrueNAS Scale or any other Linux operating system.

Also I would like to scout for a COM header or something that would give me a text console.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is a PCIe slot. But there is another way. People have used M.2 slot on 72XT series to install GPU card using PCIe extension cable like this https://amzn.to/3V6rww0

I hope this helps.
