What model QNAP NAS to buy - Enquiries - 11-09-2022
Hi Guys, can you please suggest a few NAS models and the model number of QNAP / Synology NAS that can store around 3500 DVD's and 200 Blueray disks, and about 2000 CD's. and 5000 Hi Res photos.
The unit should have Full HD 4K playback - HDMI output, HVEC Transcoding, , be able to be accessed remotely, fast LAN card, GPU if nessesary, Be able to have a video wall displaying my movies / photos, and music. wireless as an option. Expandable memory ( M.2) DDR4 etc.
It's a bit of a tall order! This NAS stuff is so confusing.

I would look at TVS-873A with a dedicated GPU card upgrade. Otherwise, you can have a look at Qnap 88X series. These are powerful enough to cope with 4k.
