QNAP NAS OS Drive upgrade - Enquiries - 11-08-2022 Hello...I have a QNAP TS-653D with a QNAP QM2-2P-244A card in it. Currently only one of the M2 slots is occupied. That M2 drive is my "OS" drive for the NAS. I am looking to purchase a second M2 drive (same make and model) to put in the second M2 slot. I would like to Mirror the 2 M2 drives...can this be done without losing any of my current OS data? Or would it be best just to start from scratch with a fresh build? thanks, Pat RE: QNAP NAS OS Drive upgrade - ed - 11-11-2022 Yes, Qnao allows migrating from basic mode to RAID1. https://docs.qnap.com/nas-outdated/QTS4.3.4/en/GUID-65CE6D6C-4BDD-411A-B856-4D6CAC2B255C.html This would be crucial if you run system on this. I hope this helps. |
