I am switching from Windows to Mac studio ultra looking for storage solutions ,so for I am considering owc thunderbay flex 8 or a snap tvs-672 ,open to your advice thanks.

Yes, Qnap 72XT series seem to be the most popular choice among NAS users. You can connect via 10gbe or Thunderbolt (or both at the same time). If you do not need network connectivity then DAS solutions will be cheaper and faster.
