Deadbolt - Enquiries - 09-08-2022

Ive been hit by deadbolt, lost around 5tb or data mainly media stuff, all business data backed up elsewhere. Ive removed the storage pools and rebuilt new ones, but still get the deadbolt screen when trying to access the NAS with iots IP address.
Nas has been updated to latest firmware, but malware remover cant find anything.
Whats the best way to remove all traces of deadbolt and the screen its redirecting me to.

Thanks in advance,
Warren.

I would recommend a hard reset just to make sure there is no traces left.
Here is something that could help with that message removal https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/faq/article/what-should-i-do-if-i-found-the-nas-encrypted-by-deadbolt

Here is something to decrypt data https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/faq/article/how-to-decrypt-deadbolt-files-using-windows-if-i-have-decryption-key

Some more guides

I hope this helps.
