PS5 SSD Drives - Enquiries - 09-06-2022 Hello, I just bought a PS5 and am wanting to expand my storage space. I'd love a 4TB, BUT, can't justify spending the cost of a SSD that's the same or more than the PS5 itself. haha. I was debating between the FireCuda530 and the WD Black SN850X, 2TB's.... And it seems like your article I read said that the FireCuda 530 was BETTER than the SN850X... Correct? (both are same price at Amazon right now) BUT, I just saw this on Amazon, and some people are saying it's even better than the FireCuda? ITs: "SK hynix Platinum P41 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen4 M.2 2280 Internal SSD" Would that be the better choice over the FireCuda 530? IT's $10 more than the FireCuda. Thoughts on what's best? Thanks! Ryan Bush RE: PS5 SSD Drives - ed - 09-07-2022 Honestly, all Gen4 NVMe will have a similar speed. You will barely notice a difference in a gameplay. The main difference is SSD endurance.
