replace as-304t - Enquiries - 08-16-2022
My asustor as-304t has given good service, but has always been underpowered, and now unloved by asustor. e.g. stuck on xbmc rather than kodi. I like the ability to play media on the tv via the hdmi connection. I'm using 4 4GB disks in raid-5.
I'd like recommendations on any nas that can replace it and add new functionality and better performance.

I would recommend LOCKERSTOR 4 Gen2 (AS6704T) https://www.asustor.com/product/spec?p_id=77
This model comes with a newer HDMI port and multimedia-friendly CPU.
You could also migrate your old drives to a new NAS without the need to reset the system.
