Synology HD compatibility with WD Red Plus disks - Enquiries - 08-02-2022 Hello NasCompares, I'm setting-up a NAS for the first time. Beforehand I've watched a lot of articles/videos from you guys, which helped me a great deal. The NAS is a DS920 with WD Red Plus 4Tb disks (WD40EFZX - ean 718037884394) I really thought I had the rights disks (cmr), but I'm getting a 'disk is not on the compatibility list' message. Have I overlooked something or has Synology recently changed de compatibility with all Plus models? I hope you can help me with this. In any case, thank you for your time. RE: Synology HD compatibility with WD Red Plus disks - ed - 08-08-2022 Yes, I can see they have added a requirement for firmware update WD40EFZX - 68AWUN0 81.00B81 Maybe this link helps https://support.wdc.com/downloads.aspx?p=201&lang=en |
