NAS for photography and video? - Enquiries - 07-25-2022

Hello Robbie and Ed,

What NAS should I invest in for photography and video?

Any new great options?

Thanks,

I would recommend looking at Celeron-based models such as Synology DS220+/ DS920+ or Qnap TS-253d/ TS-464. The built-in graphics chip not only allows video conversion on the fly when the original video can not be played. It also supports AI engine that detects faces in your photos that simplify organising your library. Qnap AI also can detect objects in those photos. A little extra that Synology can not do.

I hope this helps.
