Synology NAS Shutdown? - Avon1330 - 08-26-2020 Hi - I have my DS220+ on a Power Schedule from 22:00 until 06:00. This means that every day I have to 'connect to server' manually. - or is there a way around this? Is the alternative is to go into hibernation mode instead? Thanks Peter Synology NAS Shutdown? - BobS - 10-13-2021 If you have a Shut Down and Startup time scheduled it should automatically boot up but it would not show in your browser until you initiate an access. Hibernation is for the hdd's to minimize power. But maybe you could explain what you mean by connect to server manually. If you mean clicking on an icon on your desk to access the NAS or entering it's Quick Connect ID or and IP address to gain access - yes, unless you just leave the DSM desktop constantly open but even then there's a setting that will close your session out and you have to login again.BobS |
