Backup nas? - Enquiries - 02-28-2020 Hi! First of all I would like thank you very much for all your very useful videos. I've just finished setting up my QNAP TVS 1282T3 with 2 iMacs via thunderbolt. Now I want to buy a NAS for offsite backup. My NAS is filled with 8x8TB drives. What NAS would you recommend? I was looking at the TS-832PX, would that be smart? Also I'd like to buy a battery for my current NAS. What would you recommend? Best regards, Jan Backup nas? - ed - 02-02-2021 Yes, Qnap 32PX would be a good backup option. It does not need the same performance a the main unit. You will need to enable RSYNC or Hybrid backuphttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsluYwZjkiU&ab_channel=QNAPTVThe best batteries that are smart enough to shut down the NAS can be found here: https://nascompares.com/cheapest-ups-for-synology-qnap-nas/I hope this helps. |
