The usage is home and small business, - lots of small photos and video files, - media server with wifi and hdmi tv connections, - mobiles back ups and sync - IP cctvs act as nvr - business files directory read and write daily use - clients restricted access to related documents Thank you Regards Abby NAS which run zfs? - ed - 02-02-2021 Currently, Qnap allows ZFS on their Hero models 86X, 88X and 73AX. Only 1288X has a graphics chip. So options for multimedia would be limited. But others will do software transcoding if this is something you may need.ZFS system is fairly limited. You can not change a RAID or add drives. It is made to be set and left this way.If you need something for 500£ range then ZFS will not be an option. But you can look at TS-451D2 or TS-453D models. These are still good options for multimedia another mentioned functionality.I hope this helps. |
