Which M.2 NVME SSD would you recommend to get full advantage of SSD Cache functionality to optimize performance?

Hello Alfons,I would recommend Samsung 970 EVO plus. Synology branded NVME is superior SSD in any way, but it costs more and it would only benefit you if you run web server or virtual machines. Cheaper SSD is ok for multimedia purpose. It might improve responsiveness, but not things like transcoding. I hope this helps.
