I want to take control of my storage solutions and not have to subscribe to google since my phone is running out of storage and I have multiple hard drives at this point. I have a two individual household. All devices are Apple based. MacBook Air M1 is the primary device to set up the NAS. iPhones and iPads are where most of the data is that will be backed up. I primarily take a lot of Live Photos so I would like to be able to back them up where I can view them and restore them as Live Photos. I would also like to buy something that will last me a long long time and where I won’t need to upgrade often. Future proofed systems are worth it to me.
I am purchasing a NAS from Amazon India as it’s the only trustworthy retailer I have found so my options are limited to them. I would like to buy the UGREEN NASync series but it’s unavailable in India as yet.
Terramaster F2-423, QNAP TS-233-2G, Asustor Nimbustor 2 Gen 2, Synology DS224+ are available on Amazon India.
