NAS/DAS for Google workdspace - Enquiries - 05-14-2025
1)To backup Google workspace, currently single user,
2)backup imac/macbooks/iphones for my home office.
3)a back up photos, music etc.
Not currently using cameras but maybe in future.
I use Unifi kit for home network wifi, aware of their NAS, maybe a bit too big for my use....also lacks all the other apps/tools Synology etc that might come in handy in future.
Understand Synology has active backup for GoogleWorkdpace.
Currently limited to Starlink for internet, no fibre due rural location.
Just come across CUBEBACKUP.COM who offer incredibly cheap backup for Google Workspace, option is to EITHER save on my own local hardware OR cloud server like Amazon.
I'd like some RAID redundancy incase of HD failure.
Hope to upgrade my ancient Imac to Mac Mini m4 soon, so may need external device to handle storage so wondering if NVME SSD's are an option.
