NAS SSD - Enquiries - 05-14-2025 I have a DS923+ and want to add an SSD drive for use with VM's. Also, is it recommended that I mirror two drives for this purpose? I appreciate your response. RE: NAS SSD - ed - 05-16-2025 In SATA drive bays you can use any SATA based HDD or SSD. Preferably Firecuda, WD Red series. NVMe slots officially only allow Synology NVME (unless using a hack then DWPD 0.7 and above type of SSD is recommended). RAID1 is a good plan to avoid data loss. |
