Nas Drives? - Enquiries - 02-28-2020 Between my wife and I we have the following devices: 2 MacBook Pros 2 iPads 2 iPhone 10 We have a Sonos system with 6 speakers and stream music via Spotify but can download to provide music offline. We have around 20,000 photos and use iCloud.com for storing word, excel files etc. We currently back up to the cloud and also to WD My Passport I would like an easy backup facility and also user friendly set up. I have reasonable knowledge but I'm not a techie What would you recommend. Also what would be the cost of the drives to support this system. That seems an awful lot for you to deal with but I would really appreciate your help Nas Drives? - ed - 02-25-2021 Synology is well known for its friendly user interface and outstanding operating system functionality. A simple model like DS218j would do a job. But if you want to explore a little more of what Synology can do then DS218play and DS218+ would allow you to do so. Including snapshots allowing you to see the previous version not only for files but even for the folder. And more.I hope this helps. |
