Terramaster F8-Pllus: Unable to login either account! - ARJ_1966 - 03-29-2025 Hi all, Just bought in the Amazon spring sale a F8-plus. Thankfully not got much data on there yet, but it doesnt appear to be recognising my accounts via the MacOS TNAS-PC software. Nor can I open the web page on Safari/Firefox/ But I can connect and access my data (busy copying/moving it off the NAS before I have to consider a rest) via filemanager. This seems a tad odd... Oh I'm rather new here - must browse these forums more... Anyway have a good Saturday RE: Terramaster F8-Pllus: Unable to login either account! - ed - 04-04-2025 It sounds like your TNAS system is running but the web interface and login system aren't working properly. Since you can still access files via Finder (SMB or AFP), the NAS itself is functional, but the web interface or user authentication might be having issues. Try These Steps to Fix Login Issues on Your Terramaster F8-Plus: 1. Restart the NAS Power off the NAS completely and unplug it for 5 minutes. Turn it back on and wait for it to fully boot. Try accessing TNAS via the web UI or software again. 2. Use the IP Address Directly Find your NAS IP address using your router’s DHCP list or TNAS PC software. Open a web browser and go to: cpp Copy Edit http://[Your-NAS-IP]:8181 (Replace [Your-NAS-IP] with the actual address.) 3. Try a Different Web Browser or Device If Safari or Firefox isn't working, try Chrome or Edge. Also, try from a different computer or mobile device. 4. Clear Browser Cache Clear cache and cookies in Safari/Firefox. Try incognito/private mode to see if that works. 5. Check for Firmware Issues If you can access the NAS via TNAS PC software, check if there’s a firmware update available. If you can’t update via the web UI, you may need to do a manual firmware recovery. 6. Reset NAS Login Credentials If all else fails, try resetting the NAS password: Hold the Reset button on the NAS for 3-5 seconds (DO NOT hold longer, as that could reset all settings). Try logging in again with the default admin credentials. |
