Where to buy Asustor? - mrg9999 - 03-23-2025 I usually buy Synology / Qnap from Broad Band Buyer or Ebuyer. I don't really like Amazon. Is there any large retailer that stocks Asustor? It has a few features I would like to try in particular a nextcloud app and the option to install 3rd party NAS like Unraid and TrueNAS I'm based in UK, England. I should have said. Fast shipping, too. Newegg – Carries quite a few models, often with reviews and regular discounts. Micro Center – Worth checking if you’ve got one nearby. Stock varies by location, but online orders available too. Provantage – Business-oriented but open to public. Good prices, sometimes hidden gems. TigerDirect – Occasionally stocks Asustor, but hit or miss. If you're planning on running Nextcloud, Unraid, or TrueNAS, look for: Models with Intel CPUs (like the AS6704T or Lockerstor series). When I worked in USA / Canada I remember using stores like Fry's, Micro Center, and to a lesser degree BestBuy. In the 70s I remembered the short lives Byte shop chain I'm currently running next cloud AIO VM on a dedicated I7 and a Synology filestore. |
