Here are some steps to help you regain access: Default Admin Password: After a reset, the default admin password for QNAP is often the first MAC address of the device (uppercase and without colons). For example, if the MAC address is 00:11:22:33:44:55, the password would be 001122334455. Find the MAC Address: Check the label on your QNAP device for the MAC address. Alternatively, connect your QNAP to your network and use the QNAP Qfinder Pro tool to locate the device and retrieve the MAC address. Reset Again (If Needed): If you still can’t log in, you can perform a basic reset: Hold the Reset button on the back of the NAS for 3 seconds. This resets the admin account and network settings but keeps your data intact. Contact QNAP Support: If none of the above works, QNAP support can assist in recovering access. Be prepared to provide your serial number and proof of purchase for verification. |
