Synology Surveillance Station - Enquiries - 09-04-2024

I followed your Youtube video on setting up Surveillance Station using same schedule etc, but it doesn't appear to be actually recording anything as when I go the the Recordings page and select Recording List it gives a message "Please go to IP Camera and check the recording schedule to see if you have activated video recording."
The cameras I am using are Reolink E1 Pro and they are streaming RTSP and working fine when I hit the Test Connection or look at them on the Monitor Station.

Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like your cameras are connected properly, but the recording schedule might not be activated correctly. Here are a couple of things you can try:

Check the Recording Schedule:

Go to your Surveillance Station > IP Camera > Edit the camera > Schedule.
Ensure the recording is set for continuous or motion-triggered recording, based on your preference.
Check Camera Permissions:

Sometimes, the permissions or user settings on the camera may prevent the recordings from being triggered.
Test with a Different Recording Schedule:

Try creating a simple schedule with continuous recording, just to see if it resolves the issue.
