Thank you for reaching out with your requirements for setting up a network for your dental practice. I understand the importance of having a reliable and efficient network infrastructure to support your operations. Based on your needs, here are some recommendations for your network setup:

Network Equipment Recommendations:
1. Main Network Setup:
Switch Recommendation: For distributing internet connectivity and connecting multiple devices across various rooms, I recommend considering a managed Gigabit Ethernet switch with PoE capabilities to power your VoIP phones. Here are a couple of options:

Cisco SG350-24P: A 24-port Gigabit PoE switch, suitable for powering VoIP phones and connecting your computers and other devices.
Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 24 (USW-24): Managed 24-port switch with PoE capabilities and integration with UniFi network controllers for centralized management.
Router: Choose a router that can handle your bandwidth requirements and support your cloud-based software efficiently.

2. Second Network for X-Ray and Internal Use:
Secondary Switch: Consider a smaller switch for the internal network, such as the Netgear GS308P, an 8-port Gigabit PoE switch, to connect the PCs in the X-ray, cabinets, orthodontics room, office, and sterilization room.
3. Additional Equipment:
Access Points: Depending on your office layout and WiFi coverage needs, add WiFi access points to ensure seamless connectivity throughout the practice.

Printers: Set up a central printer for the front desk computers. For additional printers in the office and potentially in the sterilization room, ensure they are network-ready for easy connectivity.

Considerations:
Ensure your network equipment supports Quality of Service (QoS) settings to prioritize VoIP traffic for clear and uninterrupted phone calls.
Regularly update firmware and maintain security protocols to protect patient information and ensure HIPAA compliance.
