NAS Backup - Enquiries - 02-09-2024

I have a Synology NAS 923+, which I would like to backup to an OWC Mercury Elite Pro Raid 0 connecting to my NAS with USB3 port on my NAS. My problem is that I overlooked the fact that my Nas is connected to my UPS using the USB3 port. I'm using my NAS as the networks UPS server. have you any suggestions on how I can overcome this problem. could I for example use a USB Hub?
king regards

It sounds like you've got a bit of a connectivity snag with your NAS setup. Using a USB hub could indeed be a potential solution to your problem. By connecting both your UPS and the OWC Mercury Elite Pro RAID 0 to the hub, you can effectively expand the number of USB ports available on your NAS. However, it's essential to ensure that the hub you choose is of good quality and can handle the power requirements of both devices without any issues.
