Synology Reset back up sets - Enquiries - 12-16-2023

I am running a DSM 720, 2 bay and backing up 8 users, but space is filling up, how i can reset the back ups, to zero to start over. The synology web site says dont delete from folder, but i dont see method to delete in teh app.

I would like to reset by user and shorten the amount of time to hold files

Access Hyper Backup:

Log in to your DSM 720.
Open the "Hyper Backup" application.
Select Task:

In Hyper Backup, navigate to the "Backup Explorer" tab.
Select the backup task associated with the user or data you want to reset.
Manage Versions:

Within the selected task, you should find an option to manage versions or backups.
Look for settings related to retention policies, version history, or backup duration. Adjust these settings based on your preference to shorten the time files are held.
Delete Backups:

If you wish to delete existing backups, there should be an option within the task or version management settings to delete specific backup versions or all backups associated with a user.
