If remote CCTV access is a requirement, a server with a built-in graphics chip would be beneficial. QNAP offers rack servers with Celeron processors, while Synology focuses on desktop models with GPU support. QNAP often provides more free camera licenses compared to Synology. However, Synology is known for its advanced CCTV software. To make an informed decision, assess your specific needs and weigh the features of both QNAP and Synology offerings.
