Hi,
I am looking for a storage solution that will free up space on my MacBook and improve my workflow. I just started getting into sport photography/videography and have already maxed out the 1TB storage on my Mac. Ideally I'd like to be able to work in the cloud and keep my Mac storage free.
Thanks in advance.
Thank you for reaching out to us for advice on finding the right NAS solution to meet your needs. Considering your budget of $400 and the desire for a storage solution that can free up space on your MacBook while improving your sport photography/videography workflow, we recommend looking into the Synology Plus series NAS with C2 cloud integration.

The DS224+ or DS423+ models from Synology's Plus series could be excellent choices for you. These NAS units offer a good balance of performance and storage capacity. With up to 10TB of storage, you'll have plenty of room to store your photos and videos, freeing up valuable space on your MacBook.

Moreover, Synology's C2 cloud integration allows you to work seamlessly in the cloud, ensuring that your files are safely stored and easily accessible from anywhere. This feature can significantly improve your workflow, especially when dealing with large media files.
