Hi,
I just came across your video last night about setting up a NAS for the first time, and I"ve had my DS214Play for knocking on for about 15 years, but I noticed on your video.. you set up the shared folder, now I've got a shared folder and all the other folders on the same branch.. and I wanted to ask does that make any differece.. although when I map the drive I have to do it individually for each folder.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thank you sir
After mapping a general shared folder on your NAS, you should gain access to other folders on the same branch as well, as long as your access permissions allow it. So, you shouldn't have to map each folder individually. Make sure that the shared folder has the appropriate permissions set, and you should be able to access all the folders within that branch.
