The best RAID to use if I want to use if I want to only use 2 bays and then upgrade to 4 bays later. I have already bought the DS 923+ and 2 Seagate Iron Wolf Pro 12TB hard drives. I would like to upgrade to 4 bays later and would not like to start all over.

SHR will allow you to add additional drives without a need to reset the system.
