Currently running a Netapp DS4246 with 24x 3TB HGST SAS, but it's power-hungry, loud, and the power supplies keep failing and are getting hard to come by. Drives are very old, could start failing any time...

Looking for a NAS with reasonable resiliency, will be backed-up to cloud. Need at least 50TB, but I'd like more space than that. Being able to run plex and other containerized apps (sabnzbd, sonarr, radarr, etc.) would be great, as would hardware transcoding.

I'm currently considering WD Red Pro drives, in a Synology ~6-bay NAS.

Thoughts/ recommendations appreciated.
Synology do not make multimeda-friendly NAS above 4 bays any more. DS423+ is the only one from 4 bay range.
Local streaming do not require transcoding, this would allow ds1621+ or similar NAS.
WD Red pro come with 5 year warranty and have better performance. But they are louder.
