Was looking at WD MyHome, but afraid because of WD’s current issues. I just want a small NAS that I can use to share DaVinci Resolve (a dual-platform video editing software) files with a fellow editor in another location. He is on Windows - I am on Mac. Thank you!

WD had an internal attack, nothing to do with a NAS itself. But I understand the worry.
DS723+ could be an option. It is easy to use. But most importantly it supports 10GbE upgrade. Handy for video editors.
