Have a synology ds220+ , hdhomerun on network, plex media server installed. Can successfully watch live programs, but get an error when I try to record a program. No write access to destination. Problem is it does not indicate what the path to destination is.

Or else:

It sounds like the error message you're seeing is related to the folder or directory where the HDHomeRun DVR software is trying to save the recorded programs.
To fix this issue, you'll need to make sure that the folder you've designated for HDHomeRun to save the recorded programs has the appropriate read/write permissions.
Here are the steps you can take to check and adjust the folder permissions:
1. Open File Station on your Synology NAS.
2. Navigate to the folder where you want to save your recorded programs.
3. Right-click on the folder and select "Properties".
4. Click on the "Permissions" tab.
5. Check that the "Read/Write" permission is enabled for the "admin" user (or any user you're using to run the HDHomeRun DVR software).
6. If the "Read/Write" permission is not enabled, click the "Edit" button and check the box next to "Read/Write".
7. Click "OK" to save the changes.
Once you've made sure that the folder has the appropriate permissions, try recording a program again and see if the issue is resolved. If you're still having trouble, you may need to double-check the network settings for your HDHomeRun device to make sure it's properly connected to your Synology NAS.
