Into video editing for scuba diving videos, more a hobby than an income, using mac.

Currently storing source video files on External HDDs, but need to look a something more reliable in terms of back up and storage.

Looking at a NAS, but not sure which way to go in both RAID options and brands to consider, in terms of ease of setup (I'm semi technical but the kind that can get into trouble easier than getting out of it )

Was thinking having two mirrored NAS solutions to max storage capacity, but not sure if this is a good approach, or what systems may support this?
