I have my QNAP 646 and mostly it is used for Plex, Photo Archive and personal storage. i have 100,00 + photos of my family and i was wondering what is the effect of Coral TPU on face and object recognition? is it only faster processing or would buying one of those doungles actually get me more accurate results (similar to google photos level)? i would like to hear your personal experience with that USB doungle to decide if its worth buying or not

Having one of these dongles will speed up the indexing process. The accuracy stays the same, just like anything else. This dongle simply offloads some tasks from CPU.
