Im looking to replace an old readynas 4 bay unit and also an old pc that runs my sonarr/sabnzb/plex/universal media server.
I want to be able to have all that run on the new NAS so can retire the old pc. current nas has 4 2tb drives in it, i was thinking of uping to maybe 4tb drives, Which drives should i go with (WD, Seagate, ?) ? also which unit would be able to do this easiest with least amount of jerry rigging. would that be the synology 920+ or the new 923 or should i go with the qnap ts-464 ? thanks for the help

I would go for WD Red plus or Ironwolf drives, these seem to be most quite https://nascompares.com/answer/wd-red-or...wd-red-pro
DS920+ is indeed a better choice if you want to access your videos remotely. DS923+ only excels with its 10gbe and nvme storage pools.
Qnap 64 series are similar to ds920+ regarding multimedia. But overall more powerful if you also run VMs, docker.

I hope this helps.
