Good morning guys,

As mentioned the old DS413j is runnng a long time against its limmits and need to be replaced. I use it at home mainly for back up for files, photo station (synology photo) and the storage of security footage of the IP cams.
Since i had a critical failure of my non raid video drive i dont use it any more for video/movie storage.

I have watched some comparison video's and i am doubting between:

DS920+
Pro: cheaper and on board gpu power
Con: older CPU and less upgrades posisble

DS923+
Pro; faster CPU and more future upgrades
Con: more expensive? and not as versatile due to lack of gpu power

DS1522+
Pro; same as 923+ but with more ram and one more bay
Con; same as 923+ and even more expensive

Hopefully you guys can help me in this with some insight what i might have missed.

Yes, I would also look at DS920+. Even though those other models have faster CPU, you will never feel it unless you install 10gbe card.
And this GPU chip makes a very big difference. It is handy for media streaming. Also when accessing surveillance remotely.

The question here is about 10gbe then.
