I need your help to know if the following HDD is compatible with the Synology DS1621+:

Western Digital 18TB WD Red Pro NAS Internal Hard Drive - 7200 RPM Class, SATA 6 Gb/s, CMR, 256 MB Cache, 3.5" - WD181KFGX
Yes, Synology have not tested them yet, but they are compatible. These are enterprise-class drives with much better performance compared to regular NAS drives.I hope this helps.

Hi, can you confirm that these HDDs WD181KFGX are supported by Synology NAS eg. 920+. Maybe what do you use?
Yes, it will work. Old DSM would scaremonger you into buying their Toshibas drives, but it will still work. Here is 1520+ with 18tb red pro https://www.reddit.com/r/synology/commen...with_1520/
