Best NAS for iPhone camera backup?
I am about to by my first NAS. But I can not find good information about some details that are on high priority to me. I want: * Instant upload of iPhone photos and the possability to have them deleted automaticly from iphone after uploaded. * iPhone Live Photos support (on auto uploaded photos and browsing photos) * to be able to use my iPhone to browse my photo collection stored in my NAS. I plan to have nothing locally stored in my phone so there will be plenty of space for a big cache files for thumbnails. I am comfortable with configuring systems but can not really say what NAS brand that I want. But if one of them are better on my wishes above - that will be what I go for.

TS-109 Pro not visible?
Bought a second hand TS-109 Pro, downloaded QFinder Pro and the latest firmware 3.3.3. All installed correctly but cannot see it on the network or map a drive in windows 10 When I click Details in QFinder Pro, it comes up with a log in screen where I put default username and password, the it does a little search for a few seconds and closes down??? When I click on Network Drives, there is nothing to select in the Select IP Address dropdown box??? I know it's an old system but I wanted to try it out to share music and videos on my network. Thanks in advance

QNAP HBS versioning/snapshots only to external backup?
I have a Backup job set on a daily schedule in HBS 3 from a QNAP to an attached external USB Drive. When I did a test Restore job I only see a single backup version available from the most recent backup of the day before. How do I save these daily scheduled backups as versioned backups more akin to Time Machine? I've watched some of your (very helpful) videos about snapshots but as far as I understand it, the snapshot lives on the main source QNAP. I was hoping to get the versioning only on the external USB backup. Are you forced to turn on snapshots on the main QNAP first and then the HBS scheduled backup job would also grab the snapshot data each day? Essentially I’m asking what’s the best way to replicate w/ HBS (or a different QNAP app) how Time Machine can backup daily versions to an external drive only. Thanks!

Using Synology Active Backup for Business how to prevent pc going to sleep mode?
I'm using Active Backup for Business but the PC will go into sleep after 30 min before the backup is complete. Is there a trick to wake pc from sleep to perform backup and prevent pc for entering sleep mode while backup process is running?

Synology Moments won't play videos?
This video (https://youtu.be/Lk0N0M5MLLc?t=340) shows that Synology Moments is supposed to play videos right in the app. But on both my Pixel 3 and my wife's S10e, when tapping on a video to play, we get prompted with a "select which app to play this video in". We're both connected to the same server, so I'm wondering if there's a server-side setting that I need to change. I can't imagine that Synology would remove that functionality if at one point it did play videos, as shown in the video linked above. Thanks for the help.

To sync or symlink, that is the question...?
Hi everyone, here’s the photo setup I’m trying to accomplish in Moments: 2 separate personal accounts that store individual photos from before 2013 & a family account where all photos/videos since ‘13 are stored. I enabled the shared library, so I can be logged into my personal account and see my photos as well as our family shared photos. Both my wife and I are backing our iPhones up to the family account (Home>Family>Drive>Moments). The issue is that I have to do a manual copy from the Family account to the /Photos folder for the pics and videos to show up in the shared library. Taking all this into consideration, I’m wondering the best way to sync the Family Moments folder with the /Photo folder. Is it better to symlink the Family moments folder to the /Photo folder or create a script that runs nightly to copy its contents to /Photo? Ideally I would like to prevent duplicate copies (same photos in the Family Moments folder and the /Photo folder). Help please :D
