Dischi silenziosi da 8 a 12TB?

#1
Hi, I recently replaced my 3 WD60EFRX with 3 WD80EFAX-68KNBN0 - firm. 81.00A81. As is well known these discs are actually 7200 rpm, and I find them noisy even if they don't read or write.
Are there any drives in the 8-12TB range that are quieter than these WD80EFAX-68KNBN0?
Thank you so much for your reply and for your wonderful site !!

I am afraid this is as quiet as you can get. Maybe SMR drives are a pinch quieter. But people are afraid about rebuild times with these drives. Here are pdfs : https://media.flixcar.com/f360cdn/Western_Digital-3805661149-eng_spec_data_sheet_2879-800002.pdfhttps://documents.westerndigital.com/content/dam/doc-library/en_us/assets/public/western-digital/product/internal-drives/wd-red-hdd/product-brief-western-digital-wd-red-hdd.pdfMaybe can compare noise levels.Alternatively, 2.5inch or SSD is an option.I hope this helps.
